Day 156
Miles Traveled: 0
Total Miles Traveled: 2481

Friends, Tom and Janet, took us on a tour of Clearwater and the surrounding beach areas.  We started with a great soup and sandwich lunch at their condo which overlooks the ICW in Clearwater.  Later, we drove around and saw downtown Clearwater.  An interesting fact about this city is that many of the buildings and hotels are owned by the Scientologists.  It was a cool and windy day, so a walk on the beach was "not in the cards" for this day.  We did stop for a photo op at one of the local beaches.

We enjoyed the drive around the area and got to see many beaches, tiki bars, restaurants, and waterfront homes.  We stopped in at a couple of the bars for a drink - this was Dan's favorite part.  Angie's favorite stop was a local candy shop, William Dean's Chocolates.  The candy here looks like jewels.  They were almost to pretty to eat.  To see more pictures of the beautiful chocolates go to: https://www.williamdeanchocolates.com/our-chocolates-92.html

We ended the day with dinner at Nauti-Nancy's.  It was a great day with great friends.
