Day 208-210
Miles Traveled: 0
Total Miles Traveled: 2644

Saturday, we and Robert & Susan ("Ellie 'C' ") took Dave and Diane ("Opus V") out for a farewell lunch at Ford's Garage Restaurant.  The "Opus V" is heading east to cruise the east coast of Florida.  We have enjoyed our time with this couple and hope to meet up again with them someday on the east coast.  That afternoon we did a little shopping at Publix and picked up a movie at the Redbox.  That evening we had "dinner and a movie" aboard "Seahorse".

Sunday our new batteries arrived and were installed.  It was a hot and sunny day, so we decided to take a walk around downtown Fort Myers.  We have taken these walks quite often during our stay here.  Fort Myers has really done a nice job developing their riverfront district.  There are art sculptures, water fountains, cobblestone streets, and lots of shops and restaurants.  Below are some of the sites we see on our walks.

Tall buildings in the distance are condos next to Legacy Harbour Marina where we stayed

Monday we were able to get all the monthly boat chores done - checking filters, batteries, cleaning, etc.  It felt good to have those jobs done so we celebrated by dancing on the flybridge during sunset.
