COCOA, FL - CHORES, CHORES, AND MORE CHORES

Sunday, March 22nd to Monday, March 23rd, 2015

Day 230-231
Miles Traveled: 0
Total Miles Traveled: 2870

Sunday was our provisioning day - getting groceries, household items, boat supplies, etc.  We made stops at WalMart, West Marine, and Publix.  We filled up the rental car's trunk and even some of the back seat.  We were stocked up and ready to continue cruising.  We had dinner that night at Norman's Raw Oyster Bar.  It is a good thing that neither of us are oyster fans because they were out of oysters.  So, we actually ate at Norman's Bar.

Monday we continued with preparations for getting underway.  Dan did laundry while Angie worked on paying bills and going through the pile of mail that had arrived.  It was a cloudy and drizzly day, so, it was a good day to do these jobs.  A brighter side of the day was a visit from  Looper friends John and Kathy.  They were docked at Patrick's Air Force Base near Cocoa Beach and had rented a car.  They are also headed north (on "Serenity") after spending their winter in The Keys.  We crossed The Gulf with them and also traveled with them several times after that.  We hadn't seen them since January.  We enjoyed the food at Norman's Raw Oyster Bar so well that we took them to dinner there.  Again, no oysters were eaten, but this evening they were available.   It was great to see John & Kathy again and hear about their winter in Boca Chita.
