Day 101
Miles Traveled:  30
Total Miles Traveled: 1925

This travel day was worse than yesterday.  Fortunately, we had the option to stop at Bobby's Fish Camp and we decided to call it an early day.  We left at sunup and arrived at Bobby's around 10:00am.  The temperature was in the mid 40's, but with the north wind it felt like it was in the 20's.  We arrived early enough to get a spot on the dock with power.  YEAH - We had heat.  Bobby's Fish Camp is not much of a marina, but it is a welcome oasis where there are NO other marinas and limited anchorages.
Bobby's Fish Camp - Yes, this is the only dock

By the end of the day there where 7 boats tied up on this dock.  How is that possible?  Well, two where rafted onto us and two where rafted onto the boat in front of us.  However, the record at this dock is 17 boats.  That is amazing!

The evening would not have been complete without eating the famous catfish at Bobby's Fish Camp restaurant.  It lived up to its name.  Dan even ate the tails.

  1. Bobby's was my favorite place on my trip. The catfish was amazing as was "Laura Jane" the proprieter and owner who took over when her daddy, Bobby, passed away. The 'dock" does tend to get crowded with overnighters for sure. There was 11 when I was there.
