BRUNSWICK, GA - WE HAVE RETURNED

Thursday, April 2nd to Monday, April 13th, 2015

Day 241-252
Miles Traveled: 0
Total Miles Traveled: 3093

We had a wonderful visit with both Angie's family and Dan's son's family.  We were fortunate to be able to celebrate Easter with them all.

The first visit was to Angie's family.  Angie's niece and nephew had TWO Easter egg hunts.  After having so much fun finding 65 eggs the first time, they requested they be hidden again.  And so, two egg hunts were given.  The kids had a blast, but Angie and her mother probably had just as much fun hiding the eggs (both times).

The second visit was to see Dan's son and his family.  We were so excited to meet the new baby girl and also see her two brothers.  The two boys also found hunting eggs to be a great time.  In between playtime and cuddling, we spent a lot of time preparing lunches and changing diapers to help out Mom and Dad.  Laundry and some household jobs were part of our daily routine as well.  But, we wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else during this joyous time.

It was bittersweet the day we left.  Although we would miss our families, we were excited to get back to Seahorse and continue on our unforgettable journey around the Great Loop.  It will be a story we will be able to tell the young ones for many years to come.
