Day 3
Miles Traveled Today: 37
Total Miles Traveled: 125
One thing that we have learned over the past several days is there should be "no drama on the boat unless someone is dying or the boat is sinking". After several outbursts of "Oh no" or other statements (not fit for posting) which caused the other to come running, only to find a "non-event" (like dropping a paper towel in the engine bilge or accidentally sitting down on a wet deck); this became the new rule.
We were in familiar waters this day. We boated for 6 years in this area with our previous boat, a 25 foot cabin cruiser. This was a good thing, as Dan spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon getting our Verizon jetpack/MiFi (our internet connection) functional. Angie drove the boat for 2 hours, and, since she was familiar with these waters, didn't need any help with navigation. Dan finished with the phone call just in time to captain the boat into Four Seasons Marina and dock the boat. Four Seasons is a first class marina about 6 river miles upstream from Cincinnati. This marina is off of the main channel and has a very active yacht club with lots of activities, a swimming pool, and several restaurants on site.

The highlight was meeting up with some old friends from our boating past, Pat and Marsha. They treated us to dinner at The Stadium, a new restaurant at River Downs. Thanks Pat and Marcia for a great dinner and evening after a frustrating day!!
